The Provincial Police Long Service and Good Conduct Medal is awarded to
those members of the Force who were of irreproachable character, and who
had served in the Force not less than 20 years, the last 10 of which was with
good conduct and satisfactory service. War service in the armed forces of
Canada can be counted towards qualifying for the award in cases of those
who were members of the Force immediately prior to joining the armed
forces and who rejoined the Force within three months of their honourable
discharge from the armed forces.
